I Just found your thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Fixed my problem since I didn't have to make it my self any more so for that
Just one question, is it not possible to Rename that thread? or Delete and make a new one with a better title. Should state that they're perfect swaps etc. Since I see that you have used tons of time on all those swaps and it's kind of hard to find exept if you want HuM->ScM/GnM

Hello. i am on the Irfanvied step... It says Converting image: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ScM.m2 or .skin then Error! Can't load: And the same name. on all the 28 images...28 files - Errors 28 warnings 0. What should i do? Running Vista 64 bit SP1

Did they do away with patch-2.MPQ and patch-enUS-2.MPQ? I'm not seeing them in my Data folder...
Also couldn't help noticing there are 2 character files in my patch.mpq, one entitled "Character" and one entitled "CHARACTER" in caps like that. Do these both need to be extracted?
nice guide. Was long time ago I did a modeledit myself. I think back when I was level 60 or something
Anyway. the mpq master downloadlink @ d3scene says "Sorry! You have exceeded your daily allowed download amount." Ive googled some for it but I dont know if its the right versions etc. Can you help me get the right one?

You have to register to the website in order to download it.
Also, if you're using OpenOffice to edit the tables, you have to remove the quotes from the top row using notepad in order for it to be properly converted back to dbc. Otherwise you'll get the 1kb file.

I wanted to make a GnF=>BeF but I was wondering about how I should switch GnF to BeF in excel. Since BEs have far more .BLPs compared to gnomes, I was thinking I could just match the amount of files gnomes had and leave all the extra BE ones out, but would that screw up the model swap?
hi i almost did the guide but had a problem. i could only open .csv file with these steps:
With Excel open, create a new workbook (Ctrl+N or File --> New... --> Blank Workbook).
Click "Data --> Import External Data --> Import Data..."

so i opened the the .csv files by my way and when i wanted to convert back to .dbc format the DBCutil did nothing so i stucked there :< can any1 help? or post NiM->NiF swap plz
I am doing Orc Male to Blood Elf Male atm, and found only 1 problem so far.
Seeing into the blood elf lines I noticed they have BloodElfMaleNakedTorsoSkin lines while Orc lines don't. So confused on that bit, would it make the final edit appear weard seeing as orcs don't use torso files lol?
Still working on replacing all lines, will post the result.

I tried all of this dude i followed it perfect and i couldnt get it to work...and like i got a lil stuck on the Editing the CharHairGeosets.dbc part and Editing the CharacterFacialHairStyles.dbc i am going insane i cant do this T_T This why pros should make the edits for us /cry
