yay, it works!

somehow..

now i can load the Spell.dbc an look at the content, but how does adding new entries work? there's only a "copy selected entry" button, that doesn't seem to work.. :/

ps: if adding is possible, is it also possible "line-wise" copying csv-formatted entries?

edit: the working spell.dbc was convertable with dbcutil, but after merging my "fix" in and re-dbc'ing it was first of all SMALLER than the original dbc (formatting error - dbcutil? outdated?) and also loading the smaller file, the server crashed permanently after characterlogin.. seems arcemu doesn't like dbc-injections at all

rightclick on the row you want to copy and the new entry will be added add the bottom of the file;
then you have to edit the entries on the normal way(oh and you can write configfiles to give the colummns the right names)

hmm.. hours of trying, i see my spell.dbc, can open it, find my entry, right-click and copy (in the first selection from the list on the left) or "copy" (with the button from the second list-point).

but whatever i do, no new entry gets added, whichever view i select :/

trying several combinations of above possibilities, then saving and looking for something new also shows no new line at the end of the table..

what am i getting wrong? >_<'

mostly, watertool doesn't the other things will most likely work with 3.x(ok perhaps on some Northrend-adts the shadows and alphamaps will have some problems)

If I can get this to work, this is the greatest release ever. I've extracted all of the files but I still can't find where I get into the program. I have java, but how do I start it up?

Isn't there even a "start_for_windows_dummies.cmd"? ...

I selected run, started cmd, typed that and it said it couldn't find it >.> I've always hated using cmd.

type first: cd Path/to/Taliis
then it should work ~.~
or start the start_for_windows_dummies.cmd as schlumpf mentioned.

And the new Version of Taliis can be downloaded [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] it should now be able to open every adt.
