i made myself a new type guide for reskinning, good luck.

What you need for this guide is:

Mywarcraftstudio
Blp Converter
photoshop cs2/cs3
-
Earlier skills with reskinning
basic photoshop skills.

Hey, Uhh how do I save it to pack into mpq, "I have BLP Converter" and it does not work when I drag it.

Allthough i created this before Gawd's guide was posted, it still gives you an idea of what you can do using this method of editing.



Somthing to note is that you can change the skinfile from race to race, for example I used a night elf skin on a blood elf model to get the dark look, hence why i named this model "Blight Elf"
Also, instead of making your own tatoos, you can just copy and paste them from google. Heres a link to some designs [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Well i wouldnt call myself lazy, i recolored the tatoos, hair, eyes, upper face, lower face and the markings (bottom and top .blps) i based my tattoos on google images, but edited them to better fit the model. Notice how the tattoo fits just on the chest around the shirt. I used the model on a druid and changed every single spell to be a dark/undead look and changed the forms to UD and demonic creatures. I even picked out a cool looking bunch of gear and changed my current gear to look like it.

Look all im trying to do in my above post is give some of the people who dont want to spend as much time as you or me on this a helping hand. I really do take time on my edits, wether others do or dont its not my problem but i might as well give some inspiration/quick help to some of the newer people to get em started.

Make your own thread then. Its rude to come in and show something you made in a whole other way. Titel already says

if they like to do it easier they need to go to the beginner guides.
