Setup WoW MaNGOS server (EAZY)

Easy guide how to setup your own WoW MaNGOS server...

1. Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] , download bitlord.

2. Download The server here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

3. Open the Server Control Panel, Sart Apache and SQL.

4. Select Realm Name/IP Address, it will open a window, type in your desired server name and step 5 shows how to input your IP Address.

5. Go to Start > Run... > typ in "cmd" > type in ipconfig and your IP Adress will be shown under "Connection-Specific DNS Suffix"

6. Go to your Server Control Panel, Start MaNGOS, Start Realm, and now how to connect to your server...

First Create a GM account by selecting "Register a GM account".
Download the Private Server Launcher at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and make sure its in your WoW Directory. Open it, Select "Add Server", Input the IP for your server, put in the realm name, finish. Now, select your server, select "Launch WoW" and login with the account you made.

TADA! I JUST GAINED 100 FANS!!! You should...lol...find a list of GM commands somewhere on the forum...enjoy...

i followed the mangos thing butit wudnt lemme do the private server launcher thing?

Nope. The server launcher doesnt work for me.
''Cant read Configuration file'' or something.
But i dont think thats really important.

Still really bugged. Cant do the speed command or else ill be stuck.
Just cant walk anymore...
Also the money cheat does not work. (you cant see your money at all btw)

well as to agree with everyone on this post its bugged and it would be really nice to have an updated version of these mangos from which i understand are the rulebase of the server

thats because 99% of the configuration setup is gone.

if your computer is set up 100% like the person that created that torrent download, then it will work. if not

you will need to look to the other Mangos guides to locate and make changes you need to run the private server...

Hi, I can log in perfectly, But.. When it gets to the realmlist it just goes conneting to server etc - as normal, then goes straight back to the realmlist, every time, dont know how to fix it?

For me whenever i try to download the second step it just comes up as a bunch of like symbols and i cant download anything can any1 help?
