i can connect fine but after it says "connected" it just disconnects me for no reason..?

the only error in mangosd debug is..
"Failed to open the acceptor, check if the port is free

Firstly, thank you for your work on the install program.

I downloaded and it ran through the install routine nicely.
It extracted the maps and finished without hitch.

I run mysql.bat and the database loads and looks clean.

Issue: When I run the mangosd.exe I am returned with an error

"the system cannot execute the specified program".

The system is a windows 2003 server sp1 enterprise.

After some google'ing it seems that I am missing a registered dll which made sense in my head so I carried on and installed

Visual Studio 2005
as well as the platform sdk.

Rebooted the system a couple of times. re-downled the install package from one of the other links listed.

I removed the mangos folder etc and reinstalled.
The directory is installed into the wow folder on e drive.

I hope I have done some decent ground work after doing some R&D.
I have searched these forums but nothing has come to light.

hi I have an mangos server for ver 3.0.9 and I want too update my accounts and characters too mangos 3.1.3 nobpack by 711 but when i loging in too my account i dont have my characters in character list please help me for this problem

Yea happens to me to, i open realmd.exe and i open Mysql.bat but when i open mangosd.exe it only loads two thing mangos strings and data stores then i crash. can any1 help me??

Changing the realm name:
Open "realmlist" table in the "realmd" database and change the "name" cell to the desired realm name.

Allowing others to connect to the server:
Open "realmlist" table in the "realmd" database and change the "address" cell to your external IP, then, if applicable, forward ports 3724 and 8085 on your router and/or firewall.

I dont understand how to do this? what do you mean open the table?

Little extra here, a vendor pack. It's not totally up to date, basically just a conversion of a 2.4.3 vendor pack, but it's something.

Includes three separate .sql query files, one to create the vendors, one to create their inventories, and one to spawn them. Spawning them via sql file is optional, as you can spawn just the ones you want anywhere you want with the .npc add 555XXX command. See the readme for vendor numbers.

spawn.sql will put them in shattrath, in a long, curvy line around the terrace of light. The line's a bit messy, as I didn't realize just how many blood elves 130 blood elves really is.

Neither one was made specifically to explain importing the vendor pack, but you'll get the basic idea of sqlyog, I think. host: 127.0.0.1, port: [U3306, username: root, password: root.

One other question.... When you down a boss (ex. in Naxx) why do they drop money, but not gear?

Firstly, I love this repack.

Now, onto the problem.

Mangosd.exe keeps crashing when it gets to loading waypoints.

SQL: ALTER TABLE creature_movement DROP PRIMARY KEY
SQL ERROR: Error on rename of '.\mangos\creature_movement.frm' to '.\mangos\#sql2-ab4-8.frm' <Errcod:13>

ETC, ETC.

Any help here? I can try reinstalling it, that might work.

Spy, it says in the readme for the vendor pack... dumps go into mangos db.

Ardent, I have no earthly idea, sorry. Google search turns up nothing, and nobody else has reported this problem... I'd ask for help on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
