Could I get some help? whenever I launch Mangos.exe or Realmd.exe I always get this error saying "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

I have NO IDEA what this means, does anyone?

There seems to be something wrong with your vmaps. Have you tried re-extracting them yet. If you have (or when you do) and this error is still coming up, try disabling vmaps in your mangosd.conf file. I posted a picture showing where to find this option in a previous post.

I have never ran into a problem like this myself, and there is very little help I can offer you from the information you posted. You first of all, what OS are you running? Also, did you leave all the original files in the MaNGOS folder in place? Altering the folder layout of the MaNGOS folder can result in broken program paths, possibly resulting in an error similar to yours.

Please verify that MySQL is setup correctly and is running in the background. An easy way to check this is to open your task manager and look for "mysqld.exe" under the Processes tab. If it is not in the list., then MySQL is not running meaning that it is kinda hard for anything to connect to it. If that does not solve your problem, please post your mangosd.conf and realmd.conf files.

Hmm. Well hatter, i'm a fan of yours. Beside the point:

I've got a minor problem. I created a server about 2 years ago, and it's outdated. So. Scrapping it all, I decided to begin again, new.

I've done everything, and following SQLyog instead (not that it matters, it's SQL), i've gotten to the VMAPS.

Ok. That's done. Went to Program Files. Went to the folder of WoW. Moved it to the C:\ directory. Fine.

QUOTE: "Open your "VMAPS Builder" folder. Once again, you have a choice here. You can either run "make VMAPS" and wait around for a couple of prompts, or, you can run "makevmaps_SIMPLE" and wait for it to finish." END QUOTE.

Not being stupid about anything, I decided with the SIMPLE way, to get things done, so I don't miss-click.

The problem begins here.

When I try double clicking on the "makevmaps_SIMPLE" and wait for it to finish... it begins and finishes in under .20 seconds. POINT .20. Why? It cannot find...this is what is says:

Then, when I hit Window's "Don't Send"

The vmaps Builder continues and says:

When you press any key to continue, it quits itself.

Okay, i have a problem. Proto-Drakes are my favorite mounts, but i realized that no matter how many repacks i try, i just cannot seem to get one with proto drakes ridable/learnable. How would i add them so i could actually mount them and everything?
