Go Into Your WoW File and go into Data then enUS or w/e and scroll down and you'll find realmlist.wtf change the text in there to "Set Realmlist localhost" |

When I run the AC Web Pack, I run MySQL, then Logonserver, etc
When I run Logonserver, it says:
"Could not connect to MySQL database at #.##.###.###: Host 'xxxxx' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
Cannot connect to database"
I'm confused D: halp

Reputation: 4 | | | wow lol maybe you should remake the guide seems like theres some details you left out, btw when you click the realm and it puts you back to that page usually its because you have the wrong version of wow for that server... donno how that would happen... but thats what happens, localhost is also 127.0.0.1 ryuker make sure all your passwords match each other, wherever you can put them in that might help you out.

Reputation: 1 | | As soon as i open the mangos app, it closes before i can even start WoW. My friend is running into a problem too.when he logs on to the server, its connects but it doesn't go any farther than freezing "connected" on the screen. plz help  |

Reputation: 4 | | | hey demonslayer, did you open the control panel and start ALL 4 of the programs and leave them ALL open?? and first off the person who uploaded this file played with a crap load of stuff i'm getting a bunch of errors when i run the mangos part of the control panel and you have to have lichking.mpq in order to play on this server, which you can only get through the download of beta.

Reputation: 53 Level up: 5%, 762 Points needed | | | | When I said Retail Version I said Retail Version.Make A WoW Account From HeidiSQL In Account Page the Click the Tab with the Check Mark and fill in the Info.

Reputation: 53 Level up: 5%, 762 Points needed | | | | Everyone look at the Updated Guide I Updated it so it should be easier to understand.Also this Guide is not broken or anything it's just your doing something wrong also the original Guide to this is a much easier way to Figure this out.But mine has more to explain :X |

Yeah, I keep running into this problem. SilentKenny, there was no Ascent folder that came with the repack, only MaNGOS, Server and Tools.
O_o;
Also I've tried redoing it with the updated guide.
Alsox2: This only started happening when I tried to make it public, it worked fine when everything was all 127.0.0.1/localhost. I've done this before with both Ascent and MaNGOS, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.. >_>; | | |
