That would have to be that either your firewall is catching them or your ports aren't properly connect. I'm not gonna type up a guide right here because that would take long and i am trying to help everyone so just find a guide on these forums where people explain making their server public without hamachi and it will explain what you need to do exactly so people can connect and play.

When I run the Restarter it says it can't find 'MSVCR71.dll'
So I downloaded it and put it in 'c:\windows\system32\'

But I still get the error, can anyone tell me why?

Corrupted file maybe? I think your using Ac Web Repack right? Those repacks have always given me the same problem with the restarter. Personally i'd say just find a new restarter on these forums or another forums site. Just google Mangos Restarter.

I'm useing the Restarter in this guide.
But I have used the Ac Web Repack before, and dident make it work. So I removed it.

Could that be the problem? Maybe something from the AC web Repack is in the way?

Well when i had the AC Web Repack's they would give me the same error. I'd just do what i said google a new restarter test that out and if it doesn't work also then maybe an old file that is still around is causing the error.

Oh, I when I run the restarter I also get error saying 'Magos\server.log.check cannot find the file'

This one keeps popping up until I close the restarter

To enter the game no, to set up your server yes lol. Thats what you use to set up the databases for your server. Also you use it to edit your DB's

Wow..nice guide for this version 2.4.3 ,worked well and exploring the WORLD of Warcraft now... However i still have problems with
*with referal to previous noobpack 711 for 2.4.2

1) Dual wield still dont seem to work..
2) Guns,Bow skills not working
3) Mails and Plates Proficiency not working for my Warrior !
4) many broken skills and spells...

is there anything i can do to reslove these problems ? Or issit only me ?

How do I access the database? (I have SQLyog Community Edition) when I open it I am prompted for a username password port etc... I call the connection localhost user name root password root and default port setting which is 3306 however when I press connect i get 'Error no. 2003 Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061). I have no idea how to acess the database now =\...

In otherwords how do I 'link' the database to the SQLyog program? Else I cannot access the cells to change e.g. the realm name

I am having trouble getting this to connect to the server

getting errors like failed to connect to 127.0.0.1@localhost using password "yes" eventhough i am using root as the pass i will put up screen shots later

Oh dear another problem - I have changed the realm address to my external IP adress so another friend can join and I can no longer reach the character select screen as I keep getting returned to the realm list screen. Anybody know how to fix this? I've tried changing my Realmlist.wtf file from 127.0.0.1 to my external IP and back again - neither works.
