(Guide) Super Easy Way to Change Required GM Level To Use a Commnad - 07-04-2008

Ok Have you ever wanted to change what level gm was needed to do a command ... don't think someone is ready for admin quite yet but the some commands they should be allowed to use... Well to do this its actually quite easy. Just go into your Database using your favorite mysql database GUI. (my favorite is Navicat... but sqlyog works fine too) and then go to your mangos Database and go to tables. A bunch of icons should pop up such as Creature_template ... Commands ... npc_vendor ... etc. Click on the commands icon so it brings up a new window. In the table there should be one row with the names of the gm commands the next row is the the security level. You need To edit the security column ... For example Lets say i want to let level2 Gm lookup items then i would change the security from 3 to 2 in the security level column. Then hit save and restart your server and the changes should be applied. (you could also just in game do .reload commands) hope this guide was helpful got any questions just reply to this post.
