ok first of all i cant dl these things for some reason so i would rly apreciate if u uploaded them to megaupload and gave me a link so i can check them.To combine databases u just execute the file into you db.Thats all....just like u would do with custom weaps.

hey im having a problem with alot of the spell data not loading and the runic power/ runes arnt working ither should i just try to reconfigure my database and try again?

Plokami mate click on the files until you get to last page, so for example for the 002_acid_428_scriptdev.sql you will end up at this page:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

You'll see 3 links at the top "view" "download" "annotate" all you gotta do is right click the download link and do save as. Easy

It seems they updated a lot of the databases and spells, if you can get a full DB combined with their stuff let us know, maybe you can re-upload it. I would do it but it's all new to me. Seems you are a lot more confident doing it. I never updated any of the DB so no idea how you do it. Would love to get Arthas Frostmourne

If you can update the databases so I don't have to would be great, now which is the database I gotta update? I see they also has spells items npcs, ai scripts etc etc updates. Which file I gotta add the spells or items to? I only see 2 sql files which would need updating, mangos.sql and scriptdev2.sql.sql, what do they contain? is the mangos one the database that has everything? items, npcs, spawns, dungeons etc etc? what is inside the scriptdev2 one? I had a look at the scriptdev2 and it looks like events and spawn places...

Sorry about that but,

the password field is named sha_pass_hash

I added a field like this

ID = 5
Username = test
sha_pass_hash = 1
gmlevel = 3
etc...

I launched my Wotlk F&F

logeed in as = test
pass was = 1


I had the same problem

mate why don't you create a new user from the command promt server window??? That's what I done and it was piss easy. No point messing about with the database.


I tried to add the new scripts and stuff but no luck, I have no idea how to combine the databases... can only do New Database or Execute BatchFile. If I drag and drop the files in there it just adds them as a query...

Anyhow hope you can do it and just upload the final product

OK mate will do that when I get home. I found a few other databases from other people. I will PM you all the links.

BTW what happens when you click on them??? When I do they open up as text format.... and I can do save page as. No idea why they don't work on your system... have you tried different wen browsers?

ahh... well I might start and get involved in the database and MANGOS creation, as far as I am aware we gotta download any of the new updates, files that are 2 hours old up to 3 weeks I guess. Recompile mangos... and that should have the server up and running.

Will keep you up to date, if you manage to update the database and script files let us know.

Also mate... how about that Frostmourne... is the item in game? can we get hold of it or does it have to be created separate?? If we gotta add it as a new item any idea where that would be? Which database holds item informations?

I've got it up and running, added a few more npcs, changed some shops etc etc. I would really love to get Northren working... but it would be a hell of a job. I see the Lich King model is in game...

Would help to get and idea on how to add new items to the game, new npcs... I've added a new NPC vendor but how would I add a mob? Give him a class... AI, use spells etc etc.
