Hy everyone in this guide i want to teach you how to create you`r own 2.4.1 Mangos server

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

1.Installing the Mysql:
a.Go to "\mangos Rev5735\Tools\Mysql"
b.Enter Mysql.
c.Install it and configure you`r server now.
d.Set you`r password and remember it.

2.Extracting Dbc:
a.Go to "\mangos Rev5735\Tools\Mysql"
b.Place MPQE.exe, SFmpq.dll, and the appropriate .cmd file for your locale in the World of Warcraft\data\[your locale]\ folder.
c.Run the .cmd file.
d.Once it is finished, you will have a dbc/ folder which can be moved into your main mangos folder.

3.Extracting Maps:
a.Go to "\mangos Rev5735\Tools\maps and vmaps extractor\maps"
b.Copy Ad.exe n you`r wow folder.
c.Create a new folder called maps.
d.Enter Ad.exe.
e.After ad.exe is closed copy the maps folder in you`r mangos folder.

4.Extracting Vmaps;
a.Go to "\mangos Rev5735\Tools\maps and vmaps extractor\vmaps"
b.Enter make vmaps.exe and wait until it is closed
c.Copy the "buildings" folder and the "vmaps" folder in you`r mangos folder

5.Installing you`r database
a.[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
b.Install navicat
c.Click on "connection" and set you`r new connection.
d.Create 4 New Databases :
-Realmd
-Mangos
-Character
-Scriptdev2
e.Right click on realmd and click on execute batch file:
-For Realmd Execute "E:\Server\repacks\mangos Rev5735\Tools\sql\Realmd.sql\
-For Mangos Execute "E:\Server\repacks\mangos Rev5735\Tools\sql\mangos.sql"
-For Character Execute "E:\Server\repacks\mangos Rev5735\Tools\sql\characters.sql
-For Scriptdev2 Execute "E:\Server\repacks\mangos Rev5735\Tools\sql\Scriptdev2"

6.Configure the server
a.Go to your mangos folder
b.Enter mangosd.conf
c.Modify the red line with you`r mysql pass

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;

mangos;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;mangos"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;characters"

d.Enter Realmd.conf
e.Modify the red line with you`r mysql pass

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;

mangos;realmd"

f.Enter scriptdev2.conf
g.Modify the user to root
h.Modify the red line with you`r mysql pass

ScriptDev2DatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;

mangos;scriptdev2"

7.Entering the server
a.Go to you`r wow folder and enter realmlist.wtf
b.Set you`r realmlist to 127.0.0.1
c.Go to you`r mangos folder and open Restarter
d.If you followed the guide everithing should work

Premade accounts
name-administrator
pass-administrator

name-gamemaster
pass-gamemaster

name-moderator
pass-moderator

name-player
pass-player

does mangos have all the boss spells? because i was using a mangos server the other day and it had all the real boss fights but when i went to ascent it didnt have any

Im kinda new at making private servers...but can you turn the server you make from this into a massive one that can hold 2000 or more players, and connect to a web site so people can make their own accounts and such?

hey if u need help, i got a friend who works with this stuff, if you have xfire, look for multirealms, nickname is jerry, he is a good repacker and works with servers. If u message him, tell him you where referd by this website

Yes if you use a MaNGOS binary that is compiled with Scriptdev2 or compile one yourself. Most of the bosses are scripted with scriptdev2.

yeah sure .. it should work .. i have lots of players on my server

Everything worked fine, just that I can't actually get on the sever.
I could log in, but I suggested a server, and click accept, and it would say
"Logging to game server"
Or whatever and would go to realmlist everytime

try editing your mangos and realmd again ... and to be set to your ip

What is the Root Pasword (1.st one)???

Edit; i made it in a waird way =S i downloaded a earlyer version and sat the Root pasword there, then i (for the 2ond time) downloaded and installed (for the 15.th time) the version linked here. when it requested the root password i used the onde i had picked in the earlyer version.

Hey.
I dunno if i´m the onley one who got this problem with Auto-attack.

If you right klick on a mob. then your character moving with his weapon and ready to hit the mob. but it onley works in a sec then he stand like usual.

In the real game "WoW" when u right klick on a mob he gos attack move until you klick on somethingels. Then he stand like he used to be and w8ting orders :P

I dunno if you understand me but if you do can u help me fix this problem?

To keep the "attackstans" when i right klick on a mob.
As warrior or any mele class its sometimes hard to paly.
