for some reason when im configuring mysql i execute it and i cant get past "starting files" or what ever, can someone give me sum tips. thx

I've got the server up and running now, but got a couple questions:

Is C'thun working as he is supposed to for anyone here?
His eye and body are detached, and he got no AI at all, same goes for some other bosses aswell though..

And is it possible to get the maps for I.E Programmer Isle/Designer Isle(since the emerald dream map was there, I cant see why those wont be there)?
Would be cool to have them aswell since i got them in my MangAdmin-menu (teleport locations)

And btw, that trojan my Avast detected was probably a false-positive, wasn't interested in finding out that though so just went to their homepage and got the free lite version of Navicat, yeah I'm paranoid.
Blaming you for trying to infect us wasn't what I intended btw, thought it might've been trojaned without you knowing (if DLed from other sources).

But enough of that. So far I find this server pretty neat, looks pretty stable and robust from what I've seen. A on that.

I'm having trouble extracting vmaps. Step 4/b says to enter "make vmaps.exe". I don't have that file. I have these choices. make vmaps.bat, makevmaps_simple.bat, vmap assymbler.exe, and vmap extract_v2.exe. I choose "make vmaps.bat" because it is the closest to the step in your guide. I get the following errors after running. The vmap extract tool finalized with errors. I hit enter to continue and I get "Vmaps extracted check log.txt for errors". Hit enter again to get "the vmap assymbler tool finalized with errors". Hitting enter one last time gives me "Process done! copy vmaps folder to the MaNGOS main directory". All this gives me is an empty vmaps folder, no buildings folder. Yes I have v2.4.1. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks.

i got an error like that too... .. first enter wow 2.4.1 ... exit and after that run vmaps extract_v2.exe

I'm having trouble with ad.exe
When I start it (as admin or normal) it gets to 41% and an error occurs and I'm forced to close the program. I tried redownloading it in case it was corrupt and I got the same problem. Please help.

I solved the first problem but heres another... I Run MaNGOS Restarter and everything goes perfectly fine... Then when i log into WoW it says "Unable to validate game version this may be cause by file curroption or interference from another file" Do i do some thing wrong... Or when i made the DBC,Maps.Vmaps and Building. I made it with the wrong version... I think it auto updated my WoW so it is 2.4.2 What would i do to fix that?

Hiya great guide all seems to be fine my server is running and I can log in and make characters but BC characters I don't have access to. mangos.con is set to look for it and it is installed is there a command I can try in mangos when I create an account to set it for BC?nvm I found my answer tyvm when I can give rep you'll get it ok found out how to give rep you got it
