I had the same problem too but i think i manage to fix it ..



open up navicat ... and check that the Database that the instruction told you to make is the same with the last past of the conf ...

eg ..


CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;characters"

the word characters at the end should be the same as waht you see in ur Navicat. .. if it differs then change the name to fit wat is create in Navicat ... do it for all the configaration

yeah try if it works i never at this kind of problems with mangos .... and the quide tell`s you exactly what to do ... i stayed 20 min to wirted good luck...

downgrade to 2.4.2 ... how??... go to wow/data ..delete patch.mpq and patch-2.mpq and run repair after that you should have version 2.0.0
upgrade again to 2.4.1 that`s all
