i want to know if i should save all my points until S4 to buy my S3 shoulders and wep and seeing what you guys think about it... opinions could help me in my decision

It depends upon if you can get the rating requirements for season 4, or can only get the lowered requirements for S3. Get S4 if you have the rating, if not, get S3.

Ugh, S4 is like exactly the same, except maybe +10 extra stam for each peice, and for healers/damage its like 5 more spelldmg/heal. Ugh, just save up points for WotLK .

Why not just get them now?
The difference of fighting at 1800 and 1850 & 1950 and 2000 is extremely small, often you will face the same team.

It all depends, are you good enough to get the rating for the S4 gear? On offence or anything. If you are then I'd say buy S4 if not i'd say buy S3 before S4.

If you can get the rating for S4 buy it, if you wanna be on top you need to have the best gear avable but for most casual player i think that the S3 is still a good choise. Like Igzz said the differance is not very big. But then again if you wanna be on top you might need that +10 stam or +5 healing. I think in the end its all about your play style

Don't take this as fact, but some people are suggesting that your honor points and arena points will probably be reset when Lich King comes out. The reason for this is, people can save thousands of arena and honor points, and then as soon as they hit 80 they could get nearly a full set of epics instantly. Now I'm sure you can understand why Blizzard might decide they don't want to let people do that, and wipe the points when the expansion comes out.

Again, I don't know for sure. But be aware it could happen (wouldn't surprise me).

Both answers would depend on what gear you currently have.

Say for instance you have bad weapons right now and you are a melee class. How will you be able to get the 2050 rating in order to purchase a weapon anytime close to the beginning of the season?
The overall damage upgrade from the S3 weapons will probably be higher than that of the S4 gloves or pants upgrade.

If you have great weapons - Save it.

If you have bad shoulders - Same as if you have a bad weapon.
If you have good shoulders - save it.

However - if you are a class that can get by with wearing some pve gear (such as rogues) find a pve substitute for the shoulders because the shoulders stats for most classes are mediocre. They are more of a status symbol.
