So, a guy on our server actually have 2 pieces of season 4 (brutal gladiator's satin hood and brutal gladiator's satin robe), here's a chat with him, and some screenshots of the gear. Gear that is still not out on wowhead.

Basically, a GM accidently gave them to him instead of ordinary gladiator items.

Great work man, but, i dont think he really had the items. He just got the links from somewhere. Give his name and we can check armory? Or just give us proof in game screenshots of him wearing it!

He had them equipped. A guildie linked the items last night to us from /inspect, which is why I tried to find out how he got them.

And no, I won't give his name, it's on his PvE gear now anyhow *checked*.

Found him lurking in SW. He doesn't use the S4 items, but he did equip them for me. I'll post a screenshot after the raid I'm leaving for now.

That happens "quite a lot". In fact, it's a scam that has been posted quite a few times here to tell the GM you picked the wrong part, like healing, but you want dps. And sometimes they are just too stupid to check it properly.

I read a similar post on the wow forums about a druid who tried to get two pieces of S1 changed and got S4 instead. So this isn't fake and there was SS's of the guy wearing the gear in AV.
