Yeah i just buy'd world of warcraft and i choosed to be a Orc Hunter. But the problem is i hear hunters is hated in raids. Why are they hated? How many hunters do you use in one raid? (25 man)-(40 man)

They aren't really hated in raids. People just dont like them because there is to many of them. I play a hunter and have no problems getting into raids.

Only 2 or 3 raiding hunters in my guild

They do good dps.. but not as good as a lock or mage

Depends on the fight we use up to 3, and possibly a future 4th. Hunters do good damage is raids, but you really need to learn your class in and out like everyone else. 41/20/0 is the highest DPS spec right now. You'll level very quickly so just study up on the class while leveling.

Try this site: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

That will give you the players on each server, how many are 70 etc. It's one of the few ways to really find a good population. I hope this helps.

Make sure you get yourself in the Cyclone battlegroup too. Best group for Eu right now.

Stormscale is an awesome PvP server.

People in my guild love hunters because of misdirection, and they also do a shit load of DPS. My guild leader hates hunters since they got that 1000 arena point axe, but he leaned to live with that.

My hunter is top DPS the closest to me is 1/3 my DPS and is a mage

Possibly the best PvP Eu server. But, now that it's full, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else anymore. It already has the nickname Lag'akir anyway :P

The hunters I've raided with do very good DPS (marks and beastmastery). In some of the higher instances they do 1200+ dps on trash mobs and bosses.

As a melee class, I like BM hunters' periodic +% dmg buff (don't remember what it's called), and aspect of the +attack power (don't remember that one either, hah).

Plus mail always drops and no one ever takes it

I don't agree. Hunters are not hated in raids. They give some benefits to group that cannot be disregarded such as threat redirection, buffs, crowd control abilities, nice dps. Skilled hunter players can be really helpful as they can kite.
