Well....Two friends and I are planning on starting a Karazhan guild, and hopefully move on to bigger and better shit. I was wondering if any of you here are Guild Masters or an Officer of an end of game guild.. I have a few questions to ask...Need a few tips on guild management. I'm not a complete noob when it comes to raiding. My old guild just fell apart, and we we're on Hydross, had Mag, VR, Gruul, and Karazhan(Three groups) on farm status.

Creating a guild from Karazhan up is extremely difficult and I'd only suggest doing it if you have a huge ammount of patience.

When I set up my guild we started with one group running and an open recruitment plan as we did not have the sources to get the best of the best to come and join us.

We did well as one group managing Illhoof in our first week (which isn't bad for 3 days of raiding and not much experiance with eachother)

When we had enough people to raid we all started as 2 groups. People got pissy however if they couldn't raid and some left if they didn't get a spot for a day. So be aware to deal with people with a mental IQ less than a gold fish.

If your starting a guild you'll need money for Ventrilo and a good quality website. I got lucky with the website and had a guild officer do it as he does it for a living. /win.

Gruul is hard when you haven't raided much together. You get just enough people to go and then you have to teach the tactic to everyone. It took us 10 wipes to get Maulgar down and 6 to get Gruul.

I left shortly after and gave the guild leadership to a friend as I was invited to a guild raiding Hyjal. Sadly it's a goodbye to that character as I got kapowned by a keylogger .
