My favourite has to be Molten core (MC).
have so many good memories of vanilla wow 40 man raiding in that place.

I started playing WoW right before TBC came out, so I never really got to raid any of the old world instances. So I gotta say... Naxx for WOTLK

Interesting thread . Umm, tough question. I like an instance with a lot of lore behind it. I would say Sunwell Plateau is probably #1 and Maraudon is #2.

Mara is just simply beautiful at certain parts.

I also have to say that mara is a very lovely instance, all the mobs in there look so cool aswell.

My favourite is Dead Mines, because it was the first instance I ever ran back in 2005. They say Blizzard is laazy for bringing back a Heroic DM in Cataclysm, But I just think it is epic!

Also I very much likes Ruines of Ahn'Quiraj, (20 man) Very fun raid!

i must agree with u jpte the deadmines is my favorite instance i remember back in the classic times where it was hard to do it and u had to spend alot of time completing it

For raids, I've always had a soft spot for ZG. It was the first place I raided back in the day. For instances, probably Dire Maul. At least that's what I tell myself to keep from losing my mind as I farm for Shen'dralar rep.

Shadowfang Keep (SFK)

Music = Dramatic and relevent
Concept = Perfect, break into a castle and kill the big old evil mage
Interesting = Yup, I would say so

So perfect imo. I hope blizzard don't ruin it in catalysm with the heroic version.
