I had originally created this list for a guildie who wanted to gear up to start doing Karazhan on an alt but didn't know the best choices to gear up. I have provided a list of gear that will give the greatest DPS performance without relying on doing heroics or any other raiding or tradeskill dependent. Hopefully this can be of some use to anyone else with a new level 70 rogue trying to get ready for Karazhan.

well if your ina guild who is clering kara esay you can take a naked rogue whit you. the other members are good on Dps so nps

for a starting guild in kara S1 should be fine for a rogue but as chillij said if your guild is geared they can take you in kz with green and blues...but still think that s1 is the best choise even if your guild is geared

s1 swords yeah but I personally think that s1 armor lacks some hit

Fel leather set and any real quest rewards / instance loot should get you enough hit to be fine in Karazhan. You'll be fine, I promise.

Thank you for the thread. I had this exact question for my rogue. So far the only gear I have gathered is s1 honor gear, which Im told is garbage for raiding.

Well for raiding in PVE in general with rogue u need quite a lot of hit rating, but for kara like 200 should be ok, wouldnt expect ppl to have hit rating cap just for kara;D also some decent weapons (pref swords=most dps due to talents) and about 1200 atk power for start.

And yes, S1/S2 etc lacks a lot of hit, since they're pvp sets, thats pretty straight;p go for dungeon set 3 + put hit rating gems, get icon of unyelding courage and some other +hit trinket and you'll be fine!
