[Tutorial] Morphing Animations - 4 Weeks Ago

One thing I've noticed from looking around at a lot of Graphic sites is that the whole Animation thing seems to be lacking. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of awesome animators out there, but almost every tutorial is just fading text or moving a circle across the screen. I made this tutorial a few months back and decided I'd post it here. Enjoy

A few notes: I did not rip this. It was made by HodgePodge, which was my handle on that site. However, since that was taken here, I went with HawjPawj. Just wanted to point that out to try and avoid a few accusations.

And the final product:

The shooting text was something I added after the tutorial. It's very simple, just a short tweening effect.

And a few ending notes: This style of animation will work for any kind of change over time. I've done it with Hellboy growing up, with the Hulk going from Bruce Banner(i think?) to the Hulk, and obviously, with Samus. My point is, don't feel like you're limited to my example. Be creative with it and add your own touch.

Any questions, post them below and I'll be glad to help.

Edit: If anyone has trouble reading the text, let me know and I'll give them a zoom-link.

Sadly, I lost the .psd with my external hard-drive

However, it looks like the problem is two-fold.
1. Your smudges are not severe enough towards the end of the sequence.
2. You used too few frames.

C'mon people, I'm tryin' to get out of leecher here xD
Perhaps if you go and contribute something to the site first, earn some rep and then come back with tutorials it may help. Because from the way i see it people are reluctant to rep you being a leecher because rep was banned in the graphics section for a reason, it was banned for circumstances just like this were someone would get out of leecher status by just contributing in the graphics section. Keep trying to contribute and i'm sure eventually you will get out of "lazy leecher" status
