I just ran over an old tutorial I made and was thinking about posting it here.
This tutorial is mainly for beginners to make something more than just a one colored bg with name written on it, but you might learn something new, even if you aren't a beginner.

I think the main reason why no one replied is, that it is a very common tutorial,
nicely done, nice outcome, but well, there are alot of tutorials exactly like this one around^^

Mate, it's a beginners tutorial, for people that can barely write their name in arial.

Even tough this is a beginner tutorial i made a try, always good to check back at the basics :P also i've never used Photoshop before (i use gimp) so it was a good training ^^
