As you can see I've been around since Feb 2006, so none of that "OMFG, it's a keylogger", etc... I'm sure many of you have seen me try to help people edit their keys file (check my posts). Instead of doing it that way, I figure I'd point people here instead. I think this is a decent key maker and I hope people get some good use out of it. After I feel that it's a good solid product, I'll release the source in case I decide to just leave. It is written in VB.NET 2005.
This program DOES NOT verify a good keys file, nor will it make sure you wrote something good in there. Load it into Glider if you want to do that. Peace...
Getting Started:
If you don't have a Keys.xml file yet do the following steps and it will create a default Keys.xml file in your Glider Folder:
Open up Launchpad and Launch Glider
Go to the Configuration Options
Click on the Keys Tab
Click Save
Run my program.
Double-click the textbox to browse for the Keys.xml file in your Glider folder.
Click the Load Button.
If you can get this far, then you are doing good. After they are loaded you can just select your class at the top (makes it easier to read that way) and double click an item to change it's settings. If you aren't sure what settings you can put in there, I have a list of them already there. For advanced users (and for the future development) I made this combo box "writable", so you can write in whatever you want.
You have 2 options of saving:
Click the Save all classes button to save whatever classes you have edited along with the classes you did not edit. This will keep all of your Classes together, which is how they came (besides the ones you edited).
Click the Save selected class button to save only the "Mage" class + "Common" class if you want to keep all of your Classes in separate keys file. The reason for this is the Common.SpellName isn't always in the same spot for every class that you glide. I glide multiple characters from the same Glider directory and it's just easier for me that if I decide to glide my mage to change Keys.Mage.xml to Keys.xml.
I hope that clears some problems up. Remember, you can always PM me anytime (I check my PM's very regularly) and I'm always ready to hear new ideas!
Virtual Key Listing[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
The link I had to the Virtual Keys page no longer works. I just created an interface in the program so when you hit a button it will give you the Virtual Key Code you are supposed to use. This should work on all Media Buttons, Ctrl, Alt, Space, all buttons really. Just click on, or give the greyed out textbox focus first and then press your button. In the second box, the keycode you are supposed to use will show up.
When you save a single class, it will not ask you where to save it. It will default to the Keys.xml file location that you specified. If your Keys file is in C:GliderKeys.xml and you are saving the Priest class, then it will save it to C:GliderKeys.Priest.xml. If this one already exists it will save it to C:GliderKeys.Priest1.xml, and so and and so forth.
After you edit a key, it will go back to the one you already had selected (thanks venn for pointing this out).
Pull Keys file from any class (including custom classes)
Save All the keys data or just your specific class + Common
Can use Virtual Keys + VK list link
Can use all 6 bars now
Remembers all your view settings (form size, column widths, etc)
Sort by up to 2 Columns. Just click the secondary column you want to search first, then the primary column. After you click on the primary column, it will do a main sort by that.
Future Changes:
The program will tell you if you've made changes before you closed and haven't saved yet.
