Glider Diary - Warrior

Since my last topic was under-detailed, I'll provide some bulk at the start of this one. Glider Diary for a Warrior, starting from level 1 to level 6, I'll be providing details of where, times, and the names of the profiles used (Without providing bannable detail)

Realise there's a lot of these floating around, but I'll be damned if this one doesn't run till either ;

A) Banned
B) Hit 70

So.

DAY 1
Began today in Dun Morogh. And being the honest person I am I hand-levelled until LEVEL 5
I then proceeded to Kharanos and began running the following profile :

5-8 Dun Morogh (The Grizzled Den, Wendigos, GWP)

I ran this profile all the way to LEVEL 10
Upon hitting 10, I travelled from IF to SW and to Western Elwynn, using the following profile :

08-10 Elwynn Forest - Forest's Edge

Currently LEVEL 11 using this profile but alas, raiding time calls. I will however continue after the raid and update it.

DAY 2
Very late start today to levelling, changed from the Elwynn Forest profile and am currently using ;

10-13 Westfall - The Jansen Stead (ghostwalk added)

Ran this for a short amount of time and hit LEVEL 13
Minor problems with an amazingly annoying Night Elf stalking me and asking me for a duel so I had to monitor the gliding for a while, but
upon hitting level 13 I decided to swap profiles. The Jansen Profile isn't that safe and the mobs are very spread out,
it's ineffective at 13. I have begun to use ;

10-14 Westfall -River Bank (ghostwalk)

Raid time again so, will be continued later!

DAY 3
Decided to leave Glider on overnight last night while using the River Bank profile previously mentioned, at first I was getting roughly 8k /Hr, while not particularly good I could live with it.
Upon waking up this morning I had dropped to 4k/HR and noticed this was due to my thrown weapon breaking, so, I've now activated "Pull by Charge" while I find a broken throwing weapon replace macro.
On the plus side ; LEVEL 16

Back to Westfall now with the following profile ;

15-18 Westfall - The Dagger Hills (defias - ghostwalk)

Good profile so far, 10K/HR experience and using this profile I have hit LEVEL 19. The major problem with the profile as a Warrior is that I have to burn rage on Hamstring, damn runners! Raid time again so, will update later!

Why are you using a 8-10 profile at level 11? There must be a much better one.

Because it's a good profile, and as a warrior you're near enough consistently far better facing lots of mobs lower level then yourself.

I've glided 2 warriors to 70 now and never had a problems killing mobs same level or higher than me and getting much better xp/hour. Are you using standard glider or pather?

Standard Glider. It's not a problem, but the next profile up was causing issues so I hung back for one extra level in order to make it easier. Fighting roughly same level as you can see with latest profile update.

This is another nice looking profile, remember to try and tell us if you got a few greens what gold you got and how much XP/hr if possible. +rep at 30 and also post at a random time so it's harder for Blizzard to monitor you.

Aye I'm going to be a bit careful about this, restricting over-night gliding etc.
I'd be updating/doing it now but I'm currently in BT, will get a level or two after though!

I'm considering doing a diary myself, I have been leveling a rogue for the last couple days, he's currently stuck in the 30's, I'm finding it hard to find places to go, so I had to make a couple of my own pather files which I may post up later.

You should always pull with charge whenever you can, it looks very bottish to pull every mob with a throwing weapon :P

Aye, the only problem with "Pull by Charge" is it makes you far more likely to get stuck on your way back to the track and you have to take another 5 Yards off your pull range.

Just going to update on the situation, due to the advent of the new patch I won't be gliding anymore until mmoglider website says it is safe to do so, once there's an official report on what the patch included, I'll be up and running!
