[Show-off/First] Photoshop Avatar!

Hmmm... This was my first proper attempt at a Avatar for MMOwned, i want to know what critiscm you guys can come up with, One thing i do know, Is the background dont go too well with it... Im going to work on changing that, but id love to here what you have to say!

Pretty nice so far! The only thing you should change is (As you pointed out) the background, as well as the offset of "Kiev".. (Bring it up more).. if you want to make the solider nicer however, try adding some transparency and feather.

Thank you! , I am going to try and do all that now ^^ , Currently trying to work my way around using Photoshop, if you could perhaps tell me how to feather the soldier? Would it be used by adding a stroke?

EDIT: Edited the image, Changed background, Moved text/brush, added a slight overlay to the person, Cant quite grab hold of feathering.

This avatar looks pretty cool, it is your first also, so you are going to
improve . Just keep at it, and you will be a photoshop artist in no time,
making signatures, avatars, etc. .
