Yello, i have done some lame searches and found nothing in this section about Tor,
i was checking thrue this section when i come on the thoutgh about Ip ban,
i have seen it while hosting a private server ( dont know if blizzard use it in somehow) but if they do i have a way to avoid it,

Tor is a very simpel tool to change your Ip with one click, wich could very well be used to avoid getting your ip banned / use a new one if your ip is allready banned, but i havent tried it on wow, otherwise it works well,
but once again i dont know if blizzard uses Ip bann that offen so this might be usless atleast for wow

I don't think I've seen this before, and Blizzard doesn't ban by IP, but this seems to be useful for other things as well. It seems legit too.

you get major lags playing through most proxies

also, just setting up tor dosent hide the ip you play wow with, you need to make it go through the tor service, but for switching IP's with wow (scamming purposes) i prefer widecap *cough*W-bb*cough* :>
