Found it, but, how do I become a server admin?

It's in the VentSrv.ini file, where you change settings of the vent, so you can put an admin pw there and a total vent pw if you want.

there are cracked versions of the older vent not 3.0 i cant remember the old version off hand but i have found cracked versions for 17 slots and also found unlimited slots when i dug deep enough.. i tried to get my friends to switch to ts due to there program allows you to have as many as you want but you lose sound quality. But there is a new version of ts in the making and suppose to be better then vent..

so choices right now are vent 3.0.1 with 8 slots a cracked version of old vent or unlimited slots with ts with sound quality suffering but hey its free..

I'd rather the free 3.01 vent with 8 people than go back to TS quality sound, can't stand it. Also wouldn't a person have to downgrade their vent to get on the cracker server? So it's like you have to upgrade again to talk to other people?

you can install more then one vent on your system just put them in different folders

Tried, dosent seem to work for me. I found out my IP. Put it in the Ventrilo IP/Hostname and kept the port the original vent one. And it's stuck on "Disconnect" I cant see anything in the server tho

I thought I'd share this with you guys:

* Ventrilo Server 2.3.1
* Ventrilo Client 2.3.2 Beta Client ( Logitech G15 Support)
* Ventrilo 2.3.1 Crack ( 1500 users)

I've testet it myself and I've got 24 people online on the ventserver without problem.

I've even scanned the file with VirusTotal and according to the website it's virusfree

It's true that you can get the latest one on their website but not the old ones.

And with the latest you're only have 8 slot, that's the limitation

The old one 2.1.4 has no limitation but the soundquality is not the best, with 2.3.1 the soundquality is better (as default if I remember correct, please correct me if I'm wrong)
