yes, this is like the official vent servers that companies rent out to u, only problem is you cant have more than 8 users on it. Used to set them up all the time for friends, just make sure your ports are forwarded, and then you can go to like no-ip.com or dyndns.com and get a domain name to cover your ip up. (free)

when you go to download vent you allso have the option of downloading the server... this is common sence...

Great thread, however it doesn't seem to work for me, it stays at Contacting Server. It might be the ports, I donno.

Uh.. Isn't this common sense? I mean everyone around here where I live knows how to make your own server. Get the 2.1.x client/server, as it will support more than 8 people.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (also has v2.1 v2.2 v2.3 and TS2)
