Hey guys,

I'm looking for a method in which i can advertise a service i want to offer in game. I do not intend to spam endlessly - i only want to get my message across, and if the people are not interested i do not care for convincing them, i just want the ones who are interested to contact me.

To do this, i need a way in which i can mass mail everyone online or one a compiled list of names, or a way in which i can mass whisper people. The problem is, i would probably need a program or addon to do this, and it would need to add the people online to a list, and then send the mass mail or whisper out at one time, because if it sends it out one by one, by the time it gets to maybe around 50 or so people, it may have been reported a few times and then quickly banned. So it would need to (almost) simultaneously mail or whisper the people.

I do not need functions or other extras, i just need to to be able to mail a lot of people or whisper a lot of people at one time with a predefined message that i can set.

I have looked at some addons, and i've found ones where it will automatically mail everyone on your friends list etc, but this is not enough for me. Basically what im looking for is the same method that the chinese used to countlessly send spam messages to us, just that i wont be spamming.

EDIT** Looking for a program that is external to wow that can copy and paste one name each time from a document into world of warcraft when the mailbox is opened, so it copies then name of a character from the document into the "send to' field in the mail message, and then later enters a predefined message into the mail contents and sends one mail at a time. I would need some help editting an addon to collect names instead of mail them though, ive already got the addon.

Thanks a lot for the replies thus far, seems this is a very active community I've looked on curse etc and ive found addons which search for people and whisper them for invites to guilds or to your party etc, it kind of works on the same concept except that those addons do not allow to whisper everyone, or to define your own message.

Perhaps someone with knowledge could use a similar addon and just edit it to work the way i need to, i'd still be happy to pay.

Using the mail system is actually a pretty good idea for 'spamming' however, being able to effectively spam a server, would require you to NOT delete the toon. (IIRC, Blizz now deletes any in game text mail from deleted toons, I may be wrong. [Used to just show Unknown as the name])

You'd also need quite a bit of gold on each server. (30c per mail)

Though this would be fairly simple to code, you'll be coughing up quite a bit of money to do it properly. (Spamming via whispers are simple, and there's a few spambots around here already.)

Next time, look through the forum index and read the descriptions of each forum to find what sections suits you the best. Yep. But it doesn't handle whisper bans. (Little GM message ban thing)

Sorry Apoc, i did not know where exactly to post this (as in, which section was most correct and would generate some views) as i was under the impression not many people view these forums, but it turns out they're pretty popular.

As with the deleted toons, well i once had an addon which mailed everyone on your friends list with a message you wanted. So i made 10 toons, walked them to razor hill mail box, gave them all 15 silver each (enough to mass mail 50 friends) and by the time i hit the 10th toon and as he was sending his mails, the account was logged off and banned. I thought, that's fine - i mailed around 450 people, ONE is bound to come back. However, i was wrong. On some of the characters i made, i also put the name of my alt on a seperate account into the friends list, to make sure that the spam was working. When the account got banned, instead of having around 5 mails on my main account from the spammer account i set up, i had none - implying that no one else got the mails either, maybe blizzard deleted them or something. I am unsure, but either way - no one came back, which is highly unlikely if all of the mail was delivered, which is why i believe that it kind of needs to be done somehow simultaneously, or i may need to stick to whispers.

Ill go have a look at the whisper programs, i was not aware that you guys had them here as i have looked quite intensively in google and other forums for them, and all i can find is simple chat (/say) spammers to go into the city, but i do not want to do that as people get annoyed with the same repeated message, i just want to whisper them the mssage once.

Well, i've used that IS script, and i subscribed to innerspace, and loaded the script (everything was done correctly) but it gave me an error, related to the script not being written properly. After i fixed the first error, a second one came up which i did not know how to fix, and the IS people told me that if i did not know how to fix it, i should not use it, which is party correct - but still, i tried that, and didn't have much success. Anyone using that and having success, and Apoc did you mean that when you said you guys have prorams for whispering people?

You can't use IS currently. (ISXWarden is down at the moment, and is required to use IS with WoW)

And yes, there are spambots around here. (Coded in autoit IIRC) But I wouldn't expect much functionality out of them.

Alright awesome i'll head over there and check them out (i'm currently in the process of deep searching anything related to what i need on these forums, so far i've found some basic "spammers" so to speak, but they are the basic chat spammers which is not what i want - but i'll keep on looking).

In the mean time however, if anyone is able to throw me a link or guide me in anyway, i would greatly appreciate it as i've wanted to get this to work for quite some time. And as for being new and having special treatment, well i believe if i show respect (although i do admit to posting a little on the careless side when making the threads) that i will be shown respect back.
