Setting up a "Static IP" No download Required! - 01-11-2007

1. go to start, settings, network connections.
2. right click on ur connection. (Default: Local Area Network)
3. Click properties
4. Click on internet protocol (TCP/IP)
5. click on properties
6. now choose "Set up ur own IP"
7. now type in what you want, hit ok, and restart your computer,

This really isnt neccesary, for just incase you get an IP ban, its reccomended that you dont use a static IP.

You can't type whatever u want, u must first see whats your dynamic ip, and then write that as your ip address....

first 3 parts must be same as dynamic ip's, otherwise, ur net wont work...

TRX.

There is no place like 127.0.0.1....

"6. now choose "Set up ur own IP"
7. now type in what you want, hit ok, and restart your computer,"

Vague.

Go to Run > command to open up the Command Prompt.

Type /ipconfig all and your settings will appear, simply copy those into the boxes.
