Materials:
Listerine Mouthwash
Dawn Soap
COLD Alcohol (Most types should work)
Test Tube (or other transparent container)

1. Prepare small amount of Listerine in a cup
2. Swish the Listerine in your mouth, biting your cheeks while doing it (Gets cells to take DNA from)
3. After ~ 45 seconds of step 2, put the solution in the test tube
4. Add dawn soap
5. Hold in your hands for ~3 minutes to warm
6. Add alcohol (must be cold!)
7. There should now be 3 layers

Alcohol
-------
DNA (White swirly stuff)
-------
Listerine and Dawn

OPTIONAL: How to make a DNA necklace
Materials:
Dropper
Small glass vial with lid
String
Metal object that has a hole in it (to put the string through)

1. Take the dropper and push the air out
2. Stick it in to the level of the DNA
3. Stop pressing the rubber bulb, so that the DNA is put in it
4. Put the DNA solution in glass vial
5. Put lid on
6. Get metal object and superglue to vial
7. Put string through
8. Tie string
9. Have cool necklace with DNA in it

You don't need the mouthwash, did this in school by just spitting then we put the vials in hot/warm water for 3-5 minutes then added the cold alcohol.

Hmmm, you probably won't get as many cells, or as much DNA by just spitting. But did you make a necklace with it to keep? XD

I kept it in a vial with alcohol (removed other shit but threw it out because I ran with it in my pocket and it got shredded). Also I just built up a lot of spit in my mouth for about 5 minutes while the teacher was explaining to do, but the full 5 minutes wasn't needed. If you don't want to use your own DNA you could mash up a banana and use it (people were to scared to use their own DNA even though it's just spitting).

just a guess, but i bet you a dollar they would just give it back to you saying that your sample isnt high enough quality =/ tough break

Those cells are haploid. They have half your DNA. They are also cells and not pure DNA.
