I remember when I was a little noob who had problems configuring my config files, never heard of mysql and didnt know world of warcraft private servers existed.

Used Shadow Hunter's Repack, used only for myself since I couldn't configure my files for Hamachi

9 Months Ago:

Finally discover how to use Hamachi for my server, I start spamming Youtube for some average of 20 people online.

5 Months Ago:

Was a while since I gave up on Private servers for WoW, although picked it up for 2 seconds when I saw Julianx's repack V4, tried for the final last time and got it working without Hamachi!

2 Months Ago:

Gave up on private server since 2 months, nothing was in it for me. Although it was fun to play around with mysql and get compliments from people.

My friend got a job at Mcdonald's, I got jealous of the money he made and starting to look for a business. I started another WoW server, spammed youtube and put up Gm level 3 for sale.

I had made 120$ that week, I was selling Gm level 3 for 14 dollars. Averaged around 30 people online. This continued for 2 weeks, I also put an ad on xtremetop100.com

-sign up for a 90$ 1 year hosting plan with hostmonster.com for wowmafia.org
-Get a 5 month Gold Membership Plan with xtremetop100.com( now ranked in high 60's )
-spam every youtube video concerning world of warcraft
-encourage players to vote in-game and even bribe them with gold.
-I raise Gm Price to 20$. 40 people online on average.
- Advertise on MMowned, Ragezone, AC-Web.org
- Site is listed on google,yahoo and msn within 3 days and averages over 1k visitors per day
- Get 1 gig extra of RAM
- Spam Myspace and Facebook groups

This Week:

- I Average 3-5 people buying gm per day, 20$ each( 60-100$/day)
- 50-70 players online on average
- Still can't believe the easy money

- Bought myself an Ipod Video and A Ps3

- Will start another server in 3 days to double this money
- Shoveled snow to make 60$ today( 15$ per driveway)
- Will try to make more then 150-200$/day
( Didn't I tell you I went crazy with Power?[/color]

Point of This ? No Point, Got bored and wanted to write something. Maybe this can inspire some people ....whatever. For a 15 year old this is godlike money!

UPDATE 28/11/07

- Moded My xbox 360 myself, and do it for others for 50$
- Buy xbox 360's with the 3 red lights problem, fix them and sell them for 100$ profit
- My goal next week is to make as much as my mother, she makes about 55-60 k per year
- I have begun to be more generous, it's common now for me to buy chocolates for my friends, I also know this priest who knowns many people in africa in need of school funding, I have taken up funding for 5 people for the whole year of university.
( for 10$ a person in africa does a whole term in university, our currency is much higher)

Uhmmm if you spend the money on things like ipods...ps3s etc the ppl who donate can get the fbi to come **** you over since your not updating the server witht the donations =O lol
