I wish you best of luck. These wildfires are just awful. For those of you who don't know what's going on, there are about 9 fires right now raging throughout Southern California. None of the fires are contained at all, the news (I'm watching KUSI) says that the fires are 0% controlled. What makes it worse is the fact that the Santa Ana dry and powerful winds make the paths of the fires unpredictable. This is definitely worse than the cedar fires of '03. The fire is about 2 miles away from my house, so I'm going to have to be evacuated right now. 120,000 evacuation calls have been made, and 250,000 people have already left their homes to get to a safe location, including many of my friends. For any of you on this site that happen to live in SoCal, I just pray for the best to all of you. Hopefully the Santa Ana winds will die down by the end of the week.

Here's a couple pics I took from my backyard, took with camera phone so they aren't the best quality, but you can see all the smoke in the air. Right now it's all around my house.

Hey well I'm back home now, that was quick. Wind started dying down so the fire stopped spreading as fast as it was so the authorities sayed we could go back home.
