Ok, I use wireless internet, And yeah..it sucks really bad..however, I pulled out the wireless thingy, and not only has my internet not gone away (Which it should, since there is nothing keeping it up) its gotten better...why?...first person to solve this mystery recieves a +rep and a [Cookie]

Hmmm, i don't know much about wireless connections but it could be possible that you have picked up someone else's connection in your area. My mate gets free internet off his neighbors and its better than his from wireless.

NOTE:: Most people put passwords, the minority don't with wireless.

Only thing i can think of.

I mean the actual thing that goes in the back of my comp to connect it to the router. Its gone, yet its still working...which..as far as I'm concerned, isn't suppose to happen o.o

Erm.. possibly it may register with your computer, or you may have mistaken the wire lol, sorry I'm really not sure, just popping up scenarios.

Chances are...When you had your Wireless, You had Minor Interruption, Something blocking the Signal if you will. But not fully. Used to happed to my wireless before. That all I can think of anway

? Do you have 2 wlan-sticks? One outside (the D-Link you pulled out) and maybe one inside the pc which is better? Dont know what you mean xD
