PSP "X" button issue - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

So I've had the PSP for a while now, and just recently the X button has started acting up - I have to press it harder or lighter to get it to work, or it starts pressing itself rapidly. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? I'm really getting irritated at this point ><

No, I haven't done anything specifically to the X button.. it just starts pressing itself somehow.

Nope, I just play normal UMD games/music/movies on it.

It's not that hard to open a PsP. All you need is a special Screwdriver, you also can buy a new case with buttons, maybe they work... you can find all at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
BTW, I made a chrome case around my PSP and it is teh sex!

Aye I've opened it 3 times now and cleaned it, finely adjusted it, but.. I plan on getting some button/case replacements next time I go out for electronic stuff. Thanks for all the responses tho, much appreciated.
