Well i just finished De-Bugging my System after having one of those real anyoying viruses you know the ones were just using agv and Sypbot sreach and destroy dosnt work and i think i have a winning stratagy to get heal any Computer

ingredients:

A virus (Duh)

Agv anti sypware (not to be confused with regular agv)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

CCleaner (This is allso awsome for permently wiping you web history Deleted files can be recovered in DOS but not if you CClean them)

Ad-aware
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Smitfraudfix
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Spybot search and destroy
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

SDFix
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Rogue Remover
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

And Finaly Hijackthis
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Make sure everything is uptodate and with a shortcut on your desktop

From here on acsess to internet will be unaviblie so copy the instructions into a notpad file and save to desktop

Reboot your computer and when you hear the first bleep (or strait away if your comp wont bleep) press F8 reptedly until it come's up with the boot meun.
From the boot menu select run in safe mode (usaly near the top of the list) Then select your normal user.

First run

Agv antispyware , Ad aware , Spybot Search & destroy , CCleaner and Rogue Remover This sould destroy most of the isues

Then run Smitfraudfix select the second option by pressing 2 and then the Enter key at all prompts just type Y and then press enter.

Afterwards

It may ask you to reboot DONT (but do save the log file)first run SDFix when it starts up press Y and enter and do so at any other prompts

Then reboot your comp

Save the log file off SDFix

If this hast worked use Hijackthis and select the first option save the log file and post it [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Exe are programmes i was once told if you want to find a virus go to task manager all .exe are viruses ... that person was a idiot

Never download exetentions for games of videos

a popular trick is to make a vid that looks like its from you tube with the gray sider at the bottem or from windowes movie play then it will harmlesly ask to run a update or sumthing and BAM your infected

If you think a programme is fishy there is one sure fire way to know it legit ... a forum if the programme has a forum were people comment and it gets updates and feed back ect you know its fine

Sometimes virus giving site dont have a fourm but have a apparent support desk sometimes i go on try to call and say your product has given my a virus and the usal responce is something like

this product is screen throughly but as stated in our TOA we canot accept any respociblity for damage to your computer while this software is active blah blah blah

just a note though sometimes i have got genuin help and support from these help desks and have found there programmes to be legit



Protection

all this talk of curing is all well and good but isnt it better just to protect your self in the first place ?
