Hi i put my faith in my anti- virus and ad-aware but yesterday while browsing the forums i thought why not download more protection systems so i dowloaded seek and destroy.
I am not saying you have to download this but my protection recognized and destroyed ALL other keyloggers but one called smithfread c or something like that came up possitive. I have been infected with it for MANY months and atlough my WoW account hasnt been compromised it can be a HUGE threat if you use internet banking.
*I do not download much off this site so i dont think i got froma download it most likely came froma site DONT trust site extensions which end in .php or a unlkown ending such as .shtml as these CAN contain keyloggers unless you can trust who makes it such as a microsoft site*

NOW the important part... How to find out if you got it WITHOUT downloading seek and destroy *this wont get rid of it just identify if you have this keylogger which many anti-virus and anti adware do not pick up*
go on start run and type in 'C:/WINDOWS/offlog.txt' If nothing comes up you are fine BUT if a log comes up it means you have it and should download a anti adware suitible for destroying it.

Another good AV, that i use, is AVG Anti-Spyware. It seems to pickup most things that my other 3 AVs cant find. I recommend it, its good.

I actually managed to get my trojan past AVG one or two times ^_^

that keylogger + AVG = BANG but annoyign thing saying svchost.exe could not be found ( what the sneaky keylogger disguises himself as)

and marlo sheesh i wish i could hack and/or send decent viruses :P
