Here the new points system that's in place on the site
okay heres the infraction to points sheet.. comment if you think i missed something or need to add something.

Posting a question/request in the wrong forum: 9 points (expire after 30 days)
Posting a general topic in the wrong forum: 2 points (expire after 30 days)
Spamming 10+ posts: Insta Perma Ban
Just writing spam posts.. not really saying much: 2 points per post (expire after 120 days)
Flaming/Trolling: 5 Points per offense (expire NEVER)
Advertising another site: 7 points per post (expire 12 MONTHS) (delete post or edit out ad)
Knowingly Posting an affiliate link to another site: 1 day ban
Asking for Reputation: 2 points (expire after 30 days)
Spamming the shoutbox(4 msgs in a row with no other userinterfernce in 5 mins or so): 2 pts
Infraction points may vary from post to post

All users offenses will stay logged even after points expire for them.. If a user reaches 10 points and their offense doesnt qualify for a 1-day ban, they will be permanently banned from the site.

You can check your warning level and view comments left by moderators if you are warned and given points. It is possible to have your points decreased for being a positive influence on the site. It is not possible to have negative warning points (i know some smart-ass might try and ask that question)

I say give the poor guys that cant read more of a chance. make it like 5 points maybe?

they'll only end up with a 1 day ban if they reach the full 10 points.. this way they dont get the 1 day ban right away for not reading.

EDIT: apperntly i got two tallys against me on the SB for some reasonand this warn crap is starting to tick me off im doing little more to spam then others and the warn bomb seems to get dropped on me the most.

yeah the last one is a fault. should have been expired tho... :S you have gotten a warning for spamming shoutbox (2 pts)
and u have gotten a warning for a , what was called, Spam post in a thread where chaz said "Closed" and you after that said "oh is it really?" .
and no u are not the only one who is getting warningpts. but we will bee cracking down alot on stupid stuff from now on as we have seen an increase in the "lameness" on the site if u can call it that.. anyways off to work.

Warn system is cool but i got 70% warn for no reason it said i was flaming someone when i was the one beign flamed...?

Yeah but it says for flaming 5 points per offense (NEVER EXPIRE) i got 7 points and they never expire...but i didnt flame and i dont know any other sites....X.x i think we need a more accurate system that runs more like WoW's with 3 hour suspend,72 horu suspend,5 day suspend,perma ban,IP BAN
