MMOwned community driven IRC ! - 07-04-2008
Good morning! I am glad to announce the "official - COMMUNITY" run IRC room!


Rules:
Sharing some of the rules as the "Bawx" but not all of them =) this irc room will revolve around MMOwned and allow for more fun and entertainment !

How to connect?

Downloading the irc client:

Windows - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - The best.

Linux - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Mac - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Unix - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Connecting: You can probably figure this out, if not I'll make a guide.

Server: irc.rizon.net #mmowned

In a hyperlink: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
This will launch your irc program on Windows =)

Hope to see you all there!

More instructions -

Type /ns help register to learn how to register your nickname

Type /join #mmowned to join our channel

Type /ns identify passwordhere to login when you've created a login

Hasbro, Project Manager of ArcEmu.org - Matt says this is okay.

It is not an official IRC channel untill it's approved by the site administrators.
MMOwned had an IRC channel. It wasn't used enough and they'd rather have people on the site than on the channel.

I've spoken to KuRioS about it, it isn't the official irc room, its the official community driven one though

Edit: And we're in it right now, no spam =O

A community-driven IRC is a great idea!
I personally won't be in it myself, but I think it is another step towards a greater MMOwned.

but the site is good for like foruming ect but with mIRC it can be like game chat and all that. so the forum will be a normal forum but the IRC channel will be socialising, WoW talk, ect
