They should be less cruel to animals, but they don't have a consciousness to them so the pain the feel and their reactions is actually just instinct. We just infer from our own thoughts that the animals feel like they are being abused. They actually have no clue as they are dumb as shit. If you don't eat, in my eyes, thats fine, that just means you are more sympathetic then some. But we as people DEFINITELY are intended to eat meat. It says in the Bible that they animals were placed on earth to serve us. And by serve, God meant on our plates. If your not religious then just look at science, look at all the medical benefits of the protein and vitamins found in meats. I think im beggining to rant so ill wrap it up.

Animals are treated cruel but they don't realize it.

Although I am aware that this is happening and that I am very passionate about animals I am the same way towards meat I love eating meat but I hate animal cruelty at all times possible I try to eat a free range option but it is hard seeing as 1 of my local shop tescos hardly stocks any free range meat where as the other Asdas does. People say that they would buy free range stuff if it wasn't so expensive its only £5 for the cheapest of free range chickens which is about the only free-range thing you can buy in your average shop but if you are that passionate you just shouldn't eat it at all I know this is a random post but the thread is relevant. I also agree with what people have said about us being omnivores is natural. Also a tip to anyone who is considering becoming a veggie. You will most likely become weak etc from lack of proteins and fats that you would normally get from meat.
Another thing that anyone who likes free range stuff and is into that sort of thing like me. follow I think his name is Hue fernly whitingstall he has a TV program on about his campaign to get more free range options into shops.

I personally will never slaughter a animal, but someone has to do it. And not all farms are even close to that bad, My grandpa even owns a beef farm (he doesnt slaughter he sells) but he treats them with respect and make's sure they are all healthy.. Not everyone is bad.

The video is ridiculous, animals wouldn't be treated like that at farms because its illegal and meat from poorly treated and diseased would taste bad and be of low quality. Any farm that treats animals like that would be shut down. A lot of vegetarians still eat products like eggs and milk (milk which is needed for calcium). Even the Dali Lama eats meat because he has to for health purposes. A lot of people that are against animal cruelty eat free range foods as an alternative.
