HELP Updating-Half Life CS
I need Help please

I just re-installed HalfLife CS Back On my comp after a LONG break

So Everytime I try and I try and get to the CS Chatrooms on the main menu on the game, I get the SAME Message over and over and over

"Your Counter-Strike Executable is out of date. CS Wil now update to the current version."

When I click OK and allow it to check the internet for updates, it does NOTHING!

If anybody can give me a download to get it updated to the most current patch or version or whatever, Id GLADLY be willing to give rep

You used cd? If yes, it hasn't got .gfc, which means you have to dl whole gme through steam (all vanilla hl games cds haven't got .gcf)
