DUNGEON RUNNERS [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Dungeon Runners is a free MMO which is insanely funny. The game starts you off with three classes. A fighter, a mage and a ranger. Me trying to be the big manly kind of guy chose the female fighter.
Sadly I missed the intro if there was one as I really needed a leak. But when I came back I was in a basin surrounded by trees and other shrubbery. I got my few quests from great voice acted NPC's such as the merchant who tells you, "I'm selling crap." etc.
You soon seem to realise that the game is one entertaining gargantuan rick roll. The game is instanced based with the main town (Townston as it is aptly named) being your headquarters.
So you go in to your big instanced dungeon on your own. Do the "Kill X ammount of..." quests and get rewarded with Kings Coins of which you can exchange for goodies such as armour and weaponry.
It's got a distinct Diablo feel about it and it's all about getting the next bit of loot. Sadly you won't progress much further than level 10 before you have to pay. I found a piece of level 4 armour which you had to be a member to use. This piece of armour had 150 defence, my current non-membered one had 8. Luckily it's a measely 5 dollars a month and well worth it to.
It's a great little time sink perfect for when you really cba to grind primals or get X ammount of primal nethers.
Yes they do but then with all the new stuff coming out for it I don't blame them, especially when they're not getting an inital fee for you to start playing the game such as Guild Wars.
