hey i wanna know what people think of "Aion" from what ive seen it looks like an amazing game with superb graphic's but graphic's alone dont make a game good...
from my understanding Aion game play is much like WoW but in term's of uniqueness it definitely has a lot different system than WoW
i guess its really person to person but the main thing Aion has going for it is the flying,in my opinion
so would you quit WoW to play this game?

Aion is new and looks very promising. Gonna try it out! |

Sadly the beta only lets you go to level 10, but at level 10 you can fly for a limited time and as you gain higher levels you can fly for a longer duration. The leveling was fun and it's pretty easy to find all the quests. On top of all that, the graphics look great because of the CryEngine, same developer that made Far Cry and Crysis.

| Level 10? I'm pretty sure its 25... because thats the level I got to and thats the level they set as the limit on there homepage...
The game is extremely fun, its better then wow in some aspects and some not, but the overall gameplay is really neat. I wish they added a few more areas to fly around because it gets boring walking everywhere (with the occasional glide), but the abyss is amazing. Some things are somewhat buggy so far that I've seen (but it still is in the beta stage..), and they haven't really added much boundary around mountains so its easy to explore, etc. The combat is really sweet, DP skills and combos are were its at and they really did a nice job on it.
Just my 2 cents, still leveling a spiritmaster (13) right now aswell as my 25 assassin, which so far has been pretty fun, considering I was a warlock in WoW.

DA | Yeah, sorry I was in CB2 and CB3, I believe they're on CB4 right now. It's hard to kill WoW because I believe Blizzard has over 70% of the MMO market and the MMO "killer" has to really promote them selves, main stream and viral, and raise the bar for game play. Its usually the first 20 levels that make the real impression on the consumer. |
