[Hypothetical] Free WAR beta key?

I noticed that Warhammer Online is giving free beta keys to those who preorder which got me thinking. If you preorder from gamestop's website they don't charge you til they ship/pick it up from store.

The way I figure it is you could sign up wait for the beta email then cancel the order at no cost to you.

They are giving them for preorders too. The way it sounds is that noone else unless you did either are going to get in which pisses me off. Ive been following that game for 2 and 1/2 years and have been signed up for my chance via newsletter and the signup since you were able too. Ill have to check it out and try it frost2

I'm in closed beta, though after playing for 5 minutes I found nothing appealing and exited the game : )

Yes, because after playing 5 minutes of WoW, Guild Wars, AoC, <popular MMO> I feel I've played the entire game and know just what it has to offer.

Don't play a game with ignorant eyes, really.

I've played the Closed Beta, as well as the Preview Weekend and I've actually experienced more than '5 minutes' of the content it has to offer. Despite it's few bugs (it's beta ffs, and they've been addressed and are being worked on and the developers are keeping us informed) the game is incredibly enjoyable, and far more 'appealing' than just about any other MMO I've played in years.

Go have fun with whatever it is you want to play, I'll enjoy what I like to play.
