Strategy WAR BETA: Avoid Awful Torrent Speeds
I used this method with a closed beta key. I have no idea whether or not you can yet access the patch servers with an open beta one, but it's probably worth a shot

1. Download the torrent file and open with whatever torrent manager gets you off. I, like the toolbox I am, prefer uTorrent.

2. When prompted to choose which files to download, check only those pertaining to the patcher. They're pretty obvious.



3. When the torrent finishes [it's only a meg and should take no more the a minute or two] navigate to the folder you downloaded it to, and run the patcher.



4. ????????????

1. You do know this is NOT intended and if much people start doing it they will ban all accounts that do it ?
2. You do know that the patcher always fails :P Well at least for me
4. You do know I cannot count properly and that I hate posting with numbers

Going to try it again, if it works properly now I'll you and notify

EDIT : The way he said works perfect (Kinda forgot to download a file ^^)

It worked till my ****ing cousin had to come over my place, pressed the restart button, (Needed only 5 % anymore till finish)... Everything was gone, damn I wanna slap that guy :P
Can be it just ****ed up my pc because of the restart

I seem to be getting mixed reports from some friends in the beta. Some have had the "missing a large number of files" error, while others have not.

The one's that have generally seem to have interrupted it in some way.

If it's any consolation, the bloody servers are down right now anyway.
