1 ) The average age of the RS players .
2 ) The average mental age of the RS players .
3 ) The graphic quality of the game .
4 ) The poor account security .
5 ) The fact that its browser based .
6 ) The general speed of which events happen ( battles , travel ) .
7 ) The dificulty of the game .
8 ) The lvl of excitement RS provides .
9 ) RS sucks .

Feel free to comment on any of these points .

Who can argue with the player base of WoW? Dedicated players of all ages, even upwards of 30...runescape players: 8 year olds or 14 year olds w/ the mental capacity of 8 year olds.

Only one positive aspect of Runescape. I haven't played it for a long time, and the last time I logged on it said, " You last logged on 465 days ago". Some of my friends played it . I disowned them once they said Runescape was better... How can you say some graphics, when compared to a kindergartener's drawing, is horrible. How can you say the PvP system is the best, when noobs will find themselves wandering in there and getting WTFPWND. How can you say member's is better???? For the same price, maybe a bit more, you can get an awesome game, instead of some lameass game? my 2 year old cousin could have designed a better game all by himself!!! To even bother to flame Runescape is a taxing toll on most people.
I normally wouldn't be arsed but with World of Warcrafts auctioneer addon running in the background I think I can spare a few moments for a few derogatary terms to be flung around towards the entity which is "Runescape"

First of all let me tell you this. My first MMORPG was Legend of Mir (advertised on Game Network in 1999?) This was a damn exciting game at the time matching the graphics on current games with an isometric 2d feel and a relaxing yet addictive gameplay element.

The company which ran it was shit but I won't go into that.

Runescape came along around a year afterwards.
A YEAR AFTERWARDS.

This was what is now known as "classic runescape" a java based run on the mill turd of which was made by a few developers looking for a side project.

It was hated by most MMO communities I belong to at the time so that suggests that Runescape was never "good" in the first place, with pixelated ponces running around going "SELLING HATZ FOR 50099G!!!"

Die please hat seller.

Now to the current day. I'm not going to lie about my age like a few people on games do (mostly Runescape ke lol) I'm 15. Now a 15 year old in the UK has to go to school, I don't consider myself a goth or a chav and have a lot of friends. Sadly these friends are addicted to Runescape.

Some say that I should join thinking World of Warcraft is a waste of time, but I came up with a plan. I wanted to "spread" the word of WoW (although that's been done enough anyway) and take these heathens away from Runescape and become a follower of the god that is warcraft.

So I invited them back to my house every week or so for a night out, going to clubs etc but as I do pride myself on my PC (custom built by moi) everyones intrigued by all the lights and wants to have a go on it. So I let each person have a go and I always boot up WoW for them.

2 months later, 4 out of about 10 people who came round now have WoW and are happily playing it on my realm.

Conclusion:
WoW > Runescape

*Chavs are want to be gangsta's who dress up in tracksuits and carry BB GUNS, PEW PEW.
