yeah, my friend was telling me that there was/is an exploit for oblivion that you can dupe gold, but if you have/had live, you got the update that patches it. so if anybody knows how to do/use this exploit please lmk.
Its not actually a gold dupe but there is a few gold exploits and an item dupe.
To do the item dupe start to fire your bow when its fully pulled back go into your inventory (B) and tap A twice over your arrows then go to the item you want to duplicate and drop it. Once you drop it exit inventory and it will multiply by the numer of arrows you have. Anymore than 250 and i have found it to crash. Some items dont duplicate such as stolen items and unique items.
do the "vampire cure" quest (become a full vamp Not pyforlik hemofeleya)
then talk to any church preist, do the quest and at the end keep talking to the count about reward over and over
1000 goldeach time
even better
come back at a later level and talk to him again

there is another kind of gold dupe. in Imperial city, there is a person named Dorian(spelling?) and i believe he is in the talos plaza(cant remember is thats right, havent played in a while...) but the first zone/place when you walk in the main gate. his house in on the right/east portion. what you do is kill him, and when you go to take his 200 some gold or w.e, he still has it, and you can infinately take his gold. i think that his body disappears if you leave after a while, so make sure you get enough when you first do it. the arrow method is by far the best though. so nice

Imperial city ... where is that havent heard of it. I was just curious. Also if you could , how do u get the bow dupe to work? Do you have to use a macro for it ?

in all the versions of oblivion that have been made after december this has been fixed...just a murder now....and if ur lucky enough to get its only around 65 gold.....not that good requires alot of clicking cus if u press loot all ur game freezes

get a good weapon.....any that sells to a vender for 200 coins (no more)
fast travel to kavatch go to the refugie camp
(must have a horse)
equip the weapon on
draw it
get on the horse....ride to an orc saleswoman in the camp
talk to her and sell the wep you currently have epiped for 200 gold [MUST BE ON HORSE STILL!!!!!]
it wont leave your inv keep selling for 200 gold
(Save before you try this you may lose if not done right)
this also gains you merchetile exp

a really good way to make money in Oblivion is through alchemy. what you need to do: go to Skingrad, and outside there is the vineyards and then on the other side is a potato field. run thru the fields and pick everything. Now, wit the 50+ grapes and 50+ potatoes you get (prolly more like 80 or so) you just use your mortar and pestle to make restore fatigue pots. If you have an albemic and retort anc calcinator it increases the effect, and getting master versions of that is good. now what you do is you go to a merchant and sell them all. this is very having good equipment and high lvl alch skill comes in handy, because the pots will sell for more. now just sell the pots, if the merchant doesnt have enough money, just sell as many as you can, then talk to him again. you can make a lot of money this way, + it levels up alchemy, which will give you a high multiplier for intellect when you lvl. not a dupe, but still is nice to do.
