Company of Heroes is set in the time of World War 2 where Russia invaded Germany and America invaded the Beaches. It follows one army that has to fight for there life in a tragic time. You control squads to go and capture certain places on the map to gain points. It is normally played as a multi-player game, but, the story line is fun none-the-less.
There are four army's to play as: United States, SAS, Germany and Panzeshreck Elites. This gives you a dynamic and different type of style in your playing.

This game is only available on the computer but for a good reason; it is fast, furious and intense...There is no way you could do this on an X box 360 or a PlayStation 3

The graphics in this game are amazing, not only because of the facial features you can see but because of the explosions and trails left behind. When a tank drives from one place to another, the trails are left there and trees are hit down when you drive over them. *Note* Certain Graphics Requirement to see.
Also, when one runs. He will always run on how the mood is set. For example:
People are shooting: They crouch and run to the nearest shelter, When bombs are exploding: They will take cover immediatly. Ect.

The sounds in this game are extraordinary. Music is very low but still intense and stops when you hear a mortar shot coming out of no where. It could of been a lot better though but still. You can also hear your squad members yelling and swearing for there downed mates.

In CoH, the game play is awesome. As I said, they go into a fighting stance whenever something new happens. The four armies are set-out well in the battle field. No army is overpowered nor are they weak. They all have a different fighting style which you must know how to use to master. All four armies have a different play style which balance the game out well.

Allies

USA: Offensive and Controller of the battle field
Britain: Defensive but still good for capturing strategic points

Axis

Germany: Offensive but can play defensive at certain positions
Panzerschreck Elites: Offensive Defense. They use mortars and cars all the time.

Overall this game gives you a good experience on what war is REALLY like. There is no lucky runs and there are no miracles. Your squad will die, the enemy will fall. It is a great game I would really recommend you play this game. I will buy a new steam account and put CoH on it so you all can play it. Will only be giving to people I can trust.

My Opinion

Well, I believe this game was outstanding. The way to play online is revolutionary and fun. Every time you die, you lose experience points. The sounds could be a bit better and the environment could be more realistic but still is amazing. The money feature can't be better then it is. It has been done very well E.G Mortars cost 300 where-as normal infantry would cost 170. These aren't the exact prices but you know what I mean. They placed the squads into different sectors so it's easier to find a team...
It's a great game and I'm going to buy the third one today!
