Reputation: 121 Level up: 12%, 705 Points needed | | | guys i have a problem, When i tried to run mysql, it said port 3306 was in use of another mysql thingy, so i changed it to 8085 and then it worked but now nothing can connect to it, I tried changing the world and everything's port from 3306 to 8085 and it worked except the Apache site. Apache works but the site says this
" Unable to establish connection to MySQL
1045 : Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: NO)"
So it cant connect, so how would i use the site to connect to mysql when i changed the port? Please help  |

Reputation: 2 Level up: 43%, 231 Points needed | | | | you still have another MySQL running. and your Apache is trying to connect to the other one. maybe your using something like WAMPSERVER. make sure your other MySQL is switched of if you wish to use the repack's MySQL. I'm using WAMP instead and works like a charm :P
the error you are getting is that the active MySQL running port 3306 atm denies access from your Apache |

Reputation: 1 | | | does anyone have any ideas on how to get this bad boy public, i have public servers so i know a little about it but for some reason nothing works with this one and also the apache wont open for me
it gives me the error: Syntax error on line 34 of C:/legendary repack/server/apache/conf/httpd.conf: DocumentRoot must be a directory.
i downloaded this repack from mmproffesional website and posted in the support section about this about a week ago and no one has even looked at it really so please any help would be much appreciated, thanx in advance

let me be more spacific
i did all the config files and everything but still when i run my worlds and longonserver it dosent work an error pops up that says
"this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect."
but its not because i revied it like 1million times! haha ugh! help please? thanks

Change it to 3.0.9 or whatever but don't use 3.x.x. | | |
