All releases must be approved by a moderator!
Since we have had an influx of repack after repack after repack, the Emulator Release section is now under moderation. When you post a release, it will only be shown after a Moderator's approval. Do not post in this thread and do NOT pm us asking for your thread to be approved, it will be deleted instead. Here are some guidelines for the approval process:
If you are making...
A Repack
Make it original! We have had one too many repack releases where it is just the same old blizzlike core with a mall thrown in some god awful place. We are pushing for repacks from people who have taken much time into making an original repack. We aren't saying you can't make a blizzlike repack, but if there are already 5 releases on the same page, we don't need another one.
A Bossfight
Stringing a few spells onto a mob with 2 phases and calling it a bossfight is just dandy, but it won't get approved. Again, in this time, we are stressing for originality. We highly encourage looking at bossfights already released and learning from them, there are also plenty of guides in the guides section. All you have to do is search.
A Teleporter
I'll tell you right now, it probably won't get accepted.
Items
The more original items you include in your release, the better chance you will have of it getting approved. Making 50, NOT OVERPOWERED, custom items has a better chance than making a frostmourn.
Anything else
So long as it is original, it will be approved.
DO NOT MAKE MORE THAN 1 THREAD OR ELSE BOTH WILL BE DELETED.
WEBSITES
Donation panels and other original website releases will be approved, but general sites like a blizzard one copied or a new homepage will not be approved. They belong in the html section.
