Ways To Look Pro
Number 1- Use good enough grammer.
Number 2- Be respectful
Number 3- Enforce your rules
Number 4- Have forums or website
Number 5- Try not to use hamachi
Number 6- Dont trick yourself out using all this rigged gear go for simple gear like [Gamemaster hood] [Gamemaster Robe] [Gamemaster Slippers] these are simple, and look professional but totally optional. To get them type .lookupitem Gamemaster should give you the 3 items in a list with IDs.
Number 7- This goes with be respectful, dont mess with players using .kill, .summon all that its annoying.Number 8- Dont make your server look a mess with people asking "GM can you help me blah blah blah"either use a ticket system or make a channel like GMhelp or something like that.
Number 9- [OPTIONAL] Dont have T6 in your mall or w/e start them off with T4 or something and make them work for 5 and 6.
Number 10- Dont go crazy with events but have one atleast once a week to keep players on your server and occupied.
Number 11- Dont give everyone GM positions get atleast 10 or less depending on your population.
Number 12- Make sure you help players as soon as you can.
Number 13- Monitor places that are very populated using .invisible command to find hackers and such without them knowing your watching...Give them a kick for warning write them on a list and if they hack or w/e again bam ipban.
Number 14- Watch for spams for other server ads, or plain spams.
Number 15- Make a macro to tell people to vote for your server if your on a top100 site or such.
Number 16- Dont give free gear!
Number 17- Monitor your GMs for overpower, or misuse of powers.
Number 18- Include a list of rules that is on your homepage or wherever is noticeable on your website/forums.
Number 19- Make some custom area people will enjoy to keep your server up and attractive.
Number 20- Setup a PVP place in gurubashi arena or the Dire Maul arena for your players to be entertained.
Number 21- Inform of anything new on your server.
Number 22- Practice your commands before opening your server to public.
Number 23- Dont overpower your friends on the server who arent GMs.
Number 24- Dont go soft on any invaders of your rules.
Number 25- Make something Unique about your server.
Number 26- Try to get your server a good rank on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] lots of people swarm in from there.
Number 27- Be active on your forums/website.
Number 28- Get the best GMs not slackers, lazy people, or anyone of that such; get ones that will get the job done no talkbacks or anything, get the most active, nice people.
Number 29- Be strict but not too strict get some humor in you tell a joke every now and then give your players a good time.
Number 30- Make a nice banner to represent your server.
Number 31- Dont interfere with someones raid group or w/e they are doing its just impolite.
Number 32- Restrict bugged areas.
Number 33- Dont tolerate people who exploit a known bug.
Number 34- Stay organized.
Number 35- Have your GMs monitor certain places.
Number 36- Let people know of known issues.
Number 37- Dont use a channel to talk to everyone use .announce or .wa to speak.
Number 38- Always do this .gmon.
Number 39- Get your GMs to not put fancy pantsy armor on go with the basic Gamemaster armor.

It's good but i think anyone 17-20+ years old is not going to act like a kid. They obv going to have a respectable server. with rules simler to them.

lmfao.. that age range is the worst for people going power hungry on servers.

and that not just private. that age range is where the mind goes nuts when it comes to MMORPGs

most private servers (notice the MOST part) that are ran by people in that age range dont last long for that exact reason.

i have found more 13-17 year olds tend to act more respectful then most 17-20 year olds
